Claddagh Ring
Illustrations and design for Ava’s Claddagh Ring, published by Tribes Press in Galway. This project blends Irish heritage with a story of personal growth. The cover features a Claddagh ring alongside our protagonist, Ava, using earthy tones of green, gold, and ivory to evoke warmth and tradition. I aimed for soft, inviting illustrations and a whimsical yet elegant typography to set the tone for a heartfelt, timeless tale.

Sara Iraburu / Buru!


I'm Sara Iraburu, a visual artist from Pamplona/Iruña (Spain), currently working between Dublin and Navarra under the name BURU!—my personal artistic identity and creative platform. My work focuses on illustration, graphic design, and visual storytelling, with a strong emphasis on emotion, connection, and narrative. I approach each project as a process of listening and observation—whether it’s a conversation, a place, or a fleeting moment—and translate those impressions into visual pieces that feel honest and human. BURU! represents my commitment to hand-crafted, thoughtful art that resonates on a deeper level, from children’s books and editorial illustration to posters, prints, and collaborative projects. Nature, human connection, and the quiet power of stories are constant sources of inspiration in my practice, and I’m passionate about creating work that invites empathy and understanding through visual language.
