Dear María,

Final Major Project developed at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), exploring themes of memory, absence, and historical erasure through drawing and material experimentation.
Beginning as an attempt to understand someone who could never be fully recovered from history, the project evolved into an intimate investigation of what remains: fragments, atmospheres, and emotional residue. Through the use of charcoal, tracing paper, and layered hand-drawn elements, the work reflects the fragility of memory and the impossibility of complete understanding.
Rather than reconstructing a life, the final piece focuses on staying close to its traces.
