Album design for the single Dopamina by Morir en California, a pop-punk band. Created with hand-drawn, childlike illustrations, the artwork contrasts its naïve imagery with a heavy, textured red background. Grunge elements and rough pencil strokes amplify the clash between innocence and intensity, echoing the song’s restless energy and emotional spikes. The playful figures, almost fragile in their simplicity, are set against an overwhelming field of red—both a burst of euphoria and a warning flare.

Sara Iraburu / Buru!


I'm Sara Iraburu, a visual artist from Pamplona/Iruña (Spain), currently working between Dublin and Navarra under the name BURU!—my personal artistic identity and creative platform. My work focuses on illustration, graphic design, and visual storytelling, with a strong emphasis on emotion, connection, and narrative. I approach each project as a process of listening and observation—whether it’s a conversation, a place, or a fleeting moment—and translate those impressions into visual pieces that feel honest and human. BURU! represents my commitment to hand-crafted, thoughtful art that resonates on a deeper level, from children’s books and editorial illustration to posters, prints, and collaborative projects.
