Poster Design & Animation

Film Nº1
For the poster and end credits animation of Film nº1, directed by Telmo Ibarburu, I aimed to capture the film’s core themes of exploration, disillusionment, and self-discovery. The poster combines vivid elements of the Amazon jungle with cinematic symbols. For the animation, I designed a fluid sequence that shifts from realism to abstraction, echoing Telmo’s inner transformation as the film unfolds. Both pieces reflect the journey from observation to immersion, and the power of storytelling in unknown territory.

Sara Iraburu / Buru!

I'm Sara Iraburu, a visual artist from Pamplona/Iruña (Spain), currently working between Dublin and Navarra under the name BURU!—my personal artistic identity and creative platform. My work focuses on illustration, graphic design, and visual storytelling, with a strong emphasis on emotion, connection, and narrative. I approach each project as a process of listening and observation—whether it’s a conversation, a place, or a fleeting moment—and translate those impressions into visual pieces that feel honest and human. BURU! represents my commitment to hand-crafted, thoughtful art that resonates on a deeper level, from children’s books and editorial illustration to posters, prints, and collaborative projects. Nature, human connection, and the quiet power of stories are constant sources of inspiration in my practice, and I’m passionate about creating work that invites empathy and understanding through visual language.
