Alternative vinyl design for The Cure’s single Warsong, channeling the band’s dark, emotional core. I hand-drew two horses locked in violent combat, using charcoal and pencil to capture raw movement and chaos—symbols of human conflict and the wild instinct to destroy. The illustration was then inverted to heighten the drama and contrast, deepening the shadows and aligning with the band’s moody, gothic aesthetic. It’s a visual echo of the song’s tension: beauty tangled in brutality.
