Sara Iraburu is a visual artist and illustrator based between Navarra and Dublin.

Her practice is deeply image-led, with drawing, collage, and photography serving not only as techniques, but as ways of thinking and understanding the world. She is particularly drawn to handmade methods and tactile processes — the imperfections, layers, and quiet moments where meaning begins to emerge. For Sara, images are a universal language, and those made by hand often communicate most honestly.

Her work spans children’s books, editorial illustration, posters, self-published zines, and collaborative projects. Regardless of format, she aims to create visual pieces that invite pause, reflection, and connection — small moments of visual poetry.

Sara finds inspiration in everyday encounters: nature, overheard conversations on the bus, fragments of text, and old photographs. She is interested in the quiet power of storytelling and in creating work that lingers — subtle, heartfelt, and slightly unexpected.

If you’re looking for thoughtful, handcrafted visuals, or are interested in collaborating, she would love to hear from you.
